When I began to really open my heart and listen to the Holy Spirit teach me he opened up a whole new world to me. He had given me a vision previously of an airplane flying over my head and said, “ I am giving you a ticket to a higher plane. I am giving you a plane ticket.” We were an airline family already and quite used to very frequent air travel so I knew it was not a literal plane trip or plane ticket but something spiritual. A few months later when I discovered the Holy Spirit was dwelling within me and I could talk with him in two-way conversation whenever I quieted myself down to listen to him, I truly began to live in a higher realm.
And while there are people who love air travel because of either the wonder and beauty of seeing the world from a higher perspective, or because of the excitement of discovering new destinations! … likewise there are people who HATE air travel because of FEAR. For some it’s the fear of the unknown, or an accident, but most fear either Turbulence during flight of the Take-Off itself.
Oh, and I am talking about a mystery here, not holiday travel but personal Spiritual Maturity.
When you are living within man’s religious system and begin to feel the pull of a call to a higher walk with Jesus it makes a volatile mixture.
This natural result of spiritual growth causes a mixture of those still in the old ways of man and the religious system of control they create, and those who are beginning to become enlightened to the true nature of Jesus growing within them who long for the true Kingdom of God.
These newly emerging Christ-like Kingdom citizens inevitably cause people who are insecure or easily triggered, especially those in the church and doubly especially those in positions of leadership in churches to have increasing friction with you, I mean with Jesus within you. This is what happened to me at least!
Jesus didn’t pick any fights but he was frequently in conflict with the religious people around him and I now understand better why. He was closer to God than them and it made them uncomfortable. Instead of choosing humility and submission to the abundant spiritual life living within him, and choosing to learn from him and enter this wonderful kingdom of Light they retreated into man’s dark world, feeling threatened they defended their titular positions and roles in man’s manufactured hierarchy of control. Conflict is inevitable and the carnal ALWAYS persecute the spiritual. You know the verses!
I wrote the prophetic teaching on Confronting the False Prophets during that time, predicting there would be 100% chance of fireworks as God moves in his congregation all over the world to elevate those who are open in heart to him and expose the hollow promises of those devoted to the religious rule of man. Expect the fireworks and don’t assume it is a sign of failure, error or being mistaken. We do make mistakes, but those under the spirit of Saul use any means whatsoever to suppress those who are walking in the Sprit of God like David.
You hear various common accusations against people going through this shift such as being rebellious, just like they accused David and Jesus. Yes, there are rebels, but don’t entertain every accusation against yourself, Jesus told me. They call you deceived for not submitting to their authority yet Jesus told me, Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Freedom, so where is there a need for control or shouting Submit! There is however a creature, he told me, who does talk like that, standing on every high hill, demanding unquestioned obedience to his every word; shouting “Submit to me! Or else!” We are told NOT to submit to Satan but to RESIST Him, to defy him to his face! Yes, sometimes even when it is manifesting through church leaders. What’s the most they can do to you? Kick you out of their congregating Jesus asked me. So what. It’s time to hear him who can cast into Hell not those who can only cast you out of the churches of man.
The Shift God is causing in the church will precipitate this friction because many people in church do not know of what spirit they are, so there will inevitably be friction and conflict.
Don’t be surprised by it. Expect it.
Get through it.
Overcome it.
This kind of conflict is inevitable when people grow out of man’s realm and begin to actually enter the Kingdom, and the leaders of man instinctively target these young sheep and will harass you until you learn how to deal with it.
So prepare your mind for action by buckling your seat belt with the knowledge that ‘take off’ is a season of bumpy, noisy confusion. But it won’t last long. You will soon get through it rising above the turbulence and you will reach a higher plane, a cruising altitude and things will become quite smooth!
Taxi’s Blocking the Airplane!
For the revival here one of the first visions we heard was from a local pastor who saw a large airplane getting ready to take off. But instead of being helped, every local taxi in the city choose to try to block it from taking off. Basic symbolism suggests a taxi is a HIRED person, a hiring as we say, and an Airplane is a vehicle or a ministry that is meant to fly high in the heavens, high up in the spiritual realm, a highly spiritual ministry. The ‘hirelings’ were all coming out to try to block our ‘spiritual ministry’ from ‘taking off’ he said.
He then said the plane had to turn and go through a very small gate and it would not fit, not even close, but somehow … it just went through it anyway, unharmed! It seems we have to pass a Narrow Gate often to walk in and fulfill God’s calling … Then he saw the plane on the runway ready to take off and yes all the small hired taxis drove to block the runaway … the plane was being flown by a woman pilot and she gave them a warning or two, but then just took off anyway – going right through them … but miraculously no one was hurt! Soon the plane was flying high in the sky where it was made to be!
Like I said, conflict and friction are sometimes inevitable. Especially between true shepherds and hirelings, between the Saul’s and the David’s, between the Pharisees and Jesus and the Apostles. Expect it. Face it head on. Deal with it. And just rise above the turbulence they are trying to cause to stop you and reach cruising altitude on a higher plane.
Use your plane ticket and fly high above the noise!
