Once I learned I could talk with the Lord openly, I mean not talk TO him but talk WITH him, I mean hear him talk to me, I did it as much as I could! But, well it’s not like chatting on facebook or something. It takes some doing to get into that place. When I was about to move to the Philippines I remember getting my last real message, having the last real conversation with the Lord before I had to leave, and then when we were done and I had to begin to pack up to basically evacuate, I felt myself sliding down a slide, and then a second one, and then I ended up on the spiritual level of the regular people around me. That was only when I realized I had been living so far up in this higher realm, on what God said was a Mountain in the spirit.
It’s easy and not easy to get there. It’s just a life of prayer, shutting off distractions, keeping the house (my heart) clean. It’s what people are looking for when they have a fast, or go on a retreat, but I took that attitude basically every day, to live set apart. I was not doing this in my own strength, it was the Lord leading me, encouraging me to come close to him, helping me. But he leads everyone to come closer, to draw closer to him! We are ALL called to a higher walk! And also I was having so many stresses, so much trouble just to survive, literally, so I was running into his presence at every chance I had to seek him so I could be saved from the troubles, but also so I could learn his word, to be taught by him, and understand what he wanted to tell me and tell the Body through me as a prophet. But the stresses actually propelled me higher and higher into his world! Closer to him! God turns all things around for good for those who love God and are called by his purpose!!
Anyway long before I left Hong Kong back when I had first learned I could visit heaven whenever I wanted to and wow, I was so eager to go!! I told people in our weekly Sunday afternoon prayer ministry that God was inviting me and all of us to visit heaven but it still took me another week to prepare but that next week when we sat down to pray and soak together almost instantly I was in heaven.
A Temple of Mystery
I saw both people and angels walking around. Angels are taller. There was an angel with me and then I saw a towering building with a Moon over the entrance and it was about as tall as a mountain. I asked what it was, it was confusing and he said, ‘This is a temple to the Mystery of Christ represented by the Earth’s Moon.’
Like most people I only knew Revelations 21:22 where John said “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple thereof.”
And when the angel used this term to describe what I knew I was seeing, I only understood it to mean like it was a shine, or like a holy museum or something. I did not search Revelations to see if there were other references to ‘temples’ in heaven besides what I understood was not there, being The Temple. Later I found 12 verses in Revelations where ‘a temple’ in heaven is mentioned, one is called “the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven” or in NIV “the temple—that is, the tabernacle of the covenant law” and other verses may refer to this same place or other “temples” where angels come from, or where people go, or where no one can enter until the plagues are done, etc.
You see, people argue with me and accuse me of lying and being a false prophet when I say I saw a building in heaven and the angel said it was a ‘temple’ to the mystery of Christ as represented by the Earth’s moon. They say there are no temples in heaven and quote the above verse, so it goes against the word, so I’m lying. But they are the ones who are mistaken. There is no need for ‘THE’ Temple in heaven, but there are at least 12 references to “temples” in heaven in Revelations alone, but now I just think of it like a shrine or just a holy building, but one version sometimes uses the word ‘sanctuary’ interchangeably a few times, so there are different buildings and they must have various purposes. And yes it’s just language, you can call the same thing a big house, a mansion, a small palace, etc. So I know God is careful with his words but I don’t want to get hung up on matters of vocabulary. But I know what I saw, what the angel called it, it was HUGE, and yes the bible backs this up.
Revelation 3:12 The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God.
Revelation 11:19 Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail. (ESV)
Revelation 15:5-8
5After this I looked, and I saw in heaven the temple—that is, the tabernacle of the covenant law—and it was opened. 6Out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues. They were dressed in clean, shining linen and wore golden sashes around their chests. 7Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever. 8And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed. (NIV)
So there is no “Temple” but several ‘temples’ in heaven. Sometimes we translate this as ‘sanctuary,’ ‘tabernacle’ or yes, just plain ‘temple’! Wow, that’s tricky! He chooses his words very carefully! Don’t go all grammaritarian on me, but yes, be careful you don’t mis-quote him either!
So like I said, all I understood at that time was it was more like a building dedicated to express and contain this particular mystery of Christ that I never knew existed. The Moon is a light God gave mankind–not the Sun for the day, but a light he give to give man light for the night. It’s in Genesis, right? But it’s actually a symbol of the Messiah! There were New Moon festivals, and things and wow, all this was going through my mind and so I was curious to know more so I went to go inside and the angel SHOUTED! “ONLY THE HOLY MAY ENTER!”
OK, never mind! I was so startled! And as I turned away I was thinking, I thought I was holy! Well, I guess I’m sanctified or ‘being sanctified’ but still living in a human world in a body and things, so I didn’t argue my theology with him, I just turned away, just to be safe!
But then he said he wanted to show me something and he took me to the left and it’s not like a physical world where you have to walk to get somewhere, suddenly I was next to a stack of apartments with balconies sticking out from a tall wall and they were sloping slightly backwards as they went up, but there was water in a continuous wave washing over these apartment balconies!! It was not damaging them, but it was like these homes were made so the people could live inside a never-ending wave of God’s Spirit. That’s how I took it anyway. Amazing!
Then the angel took me to climb up to a higher level. That’s basically what I can call it. We STEPPED up what would have been a staircase or a ladder, but there were no steps. Instead it was just a pole, and we stepped and stepped climbing up this pole without touching it or touching any stairs … it’s not a physical world.
Then at this higher level it was a strange landscape. The ground was wavy, smooth but there were overlapping ripples in the contour of the ground. The color was darkish greens and purples and things, maybe some sea-blue, but mostly darkish colors, and as far as I could see in every direction there was nothing else to see, just a flat horizon above this strange looking flat plane, it looked like wobbly glass or something and I told the angel this place looks like, “OH!! A Sea of Glass!! And that means ….” and then as I though it, I saw it! And WOW! I GASPED!!!!
Revelations 4:6 and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal….
Revelations 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God
So when I remembered the verse that the sea of glass was in front of God’s Throne and my heart decided to look for this, I turned and saw a thing coming from the far horizon zooming in to my view as fast as you can imagine, and when it stopped in front of me and I saw it …. it was an elaborate water fountain! I calmed down and said, “Oh?” and the Angel explained:
“Yes, that IS the Father. But right now that’s the only way you can see him.”
I saw God this time not as Ezekiel or John saw him, but I saw him as a water fountain?! Is that even biblical!?
Evidently so:
Jeremiah 2:13 For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
Jeremiah 17:13 O LORD, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you shall be put to shame; those who turn away from you shall be written in the earth, for they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living water.
So our God IS a fountain of living water. That’s how I saw him the first time I was in heaven. That’s exactly how he showed himself to me!
I AM FIRE!
Another time I saw in a FLASH a vision of a being of fire from the waist down and he spoke, shouting, and the vision startled me and was over that fast. What he shouted was, “I AM … fire!”
Hebrews 12:29 for our God is a consuming fire.
So is God represented by these things? Well, that’s not what he says. He does not say his is represented by a fountain of living water. He is not represented by fire. He said He IS Fire. He IS a fountain of living water. There comes a time when we do have to be careful and watch his language. He means what he says and says what he means!! If you set up a flame and worship it, that’s an idol. But don’t be surprised if he visits you and all you see is a great light, a flowing fountain or a being of fire! Our God is ….”
